2. Scrub all the walls: It is the perfect time to really take the time to clean all the walls in the bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms, and living areas. Simply do this with a sponge or brush and mild soap and water. Don’t forget to clean baseboards and outlets. 
3. Replace all filters: Make sure to replace filters for water, range hood, and air vent filters. You should replace these filters every 3-6 months. 
4. Empty your dryer vent out: A clogged dryer vent can be a fire hazard; this can help prevent fires. 
5. Keep allergens away: Keep dust, mold, and pollen out of your house by decluttering your home. If you have sinuses or allergies, this can really be a great benefit for you. You might also want to check pipes for leaks.
6. Test smoke alarms: You will want to test smoke alarms and Carbon Monoxide detectors and make sure that they work.  You will also want to change out batteries.
