Fireworks Safety Month is throughout the month of June. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission encourages safety measures for fireworks. Summer months are filled with festivities, celebrations of summer, vacations, and the Fourth of July. 

Summer months include outdoor activities such as barbeques, which can include fireworks. Fireworks are beautiful; they burst and simply bloom across the dark sky. Fireworks’ safety is important. Most fireworks injuries are reported between June 16 to July 16. 

It is important to learn about fireworks safety methods and speak up if you see others indulging in fireworks activities that are dangerous. 

Practice using fireworks safely. It’s a celebration of our protectors; the fire and health departments work hard for our comfort and safety; practice safe fireworks. 

Go all out in enjoying any celebrations, but practice the necessary safety precautions while doing it.
