October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. It is important to uplift women in need within our local communities. 

We all know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer at some time in our lives. 

Each year in the United States, about 255,000 women get breast cancer and 42,000 women die from the disease.

Men also get breast cancer, but it is not very common. About 1 out of every 100 breast cancers diagnosed in the United States are found in a man. (CDC)

Here are ways to give back:

• Make a Donation: This will help cancer patients get the help and resources they need. 
• Start a Fundraiser: Get involved with friends and family to start one.
• Join a Race or Walk: Your support can help fund life-saving research, treatment, and education.
